The Dental Centre in Broken Hill is a family dental practice that has been operating for almost 30 years. Our aim is to provide the highest in dental care to the surrounding area, offering services that range from preventive check ups & orthodontics to dental implants.
At The Dental Centre, we have a great community spirit and believe in giving back to our community and beyond. We have developed a strong relationship with the Aged Care Facilities in the area, owned by Southern Cross, and have a small dental surgery within the Facilities to treat residents.
Dr Cocks has also led a group to Bali in 2005 to provide dental care to disadvantaged children and their carers at the Islands Orphanage in the Gianyar mountain region. Seeing 402 patients, the team were able to treat every child, teacher, caregiver, cook and domestic staff.

Greg is a highly trained Dental Surgeon with postgraduate accreditation in Orthodontics, Periodontics, and Dental Implantology. He is interested in all areas of contemporary dental practice and is a regular attender of post graduate training courses. Greg is actively involved in community and sporting associations and is a fellow of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (course 13).
Greg is the chairman of Senyum, a dental humanitarian aid program to provide dental care for disadvantaged children in rural/remote areas of Australia and Indonesia.

As a qualified pilot – Greg also enjoys flying planes in his spare time.
Dr Thomas Cocks
Tom studied a Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Adelaide and was subsequently accepted into the post graduate degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney.
Whilst completing his post graduate training, Tom worked as an oral health therapist, specialising in the treatment of paediatric patients in two of Sydney’s top practices, one on Macquarie Street in the CBD and the other in Hunter’s Hill.
His kind and gentle approach in dental care helps relieve dental anxiety and apprehensiveness in patients, especially children.
Tom looks forward to welcoming new patients and strives to provide you a satisfactory dental experience.

Ann has been working in the dental industry as a Dental Assistant since 1977. She has successfully completed her Certificate lll in Dental Assisting through correspondence with the Queensland University and her Radiography Certificate lV with the Australian Dental Association (ADA).
Since joining the team at The Dental Centre in 2002, Ann has continued her education by completing courses in OPG Radiography, 3D Cone Beam Radiography and Cerec Fabrication of Porcelain Restoration Work incorporating staining and glazing.
Ann aims for high standards of laboratory work for our patients. Ann displays outstanding work ethic and is a strong role model for our trainees. Ann is a family orientated person, who is actively involved in the softball community.
Ms Corinne Wilkins
Corinne Commenced work at The Dental Centre in 2002. While working at The Dental Centre she has obtained her certificate as a Dental Assistant and completed Radiography. She the continued her education and completed an Advanced Diploma of Dental Hygiene in 2006. Corinne has continued to remain up to date with Continuing Education programs in Dental Hygiene, Periodontics, Infection Control and Practice management. She also completed a course in 3D Cone Beam Radiography.
Trainee Dental Assistant
Adelaide is one of our newest team members, commencing at The Dental Centre in January 2018. Adelaide will be completing Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2018.
Her role as a Trainee Dental Assistant includes chairside assisting, sterilisation procedures and some reception duties, such as processing accounts and scheduling appointments. Adelaide is working under the supervision of Montana and is learning very quickly. Adelaide is an eager, driven member of The Dental Centre team.
Casual Dental Assistant
Brooke is one of the newest members of The Dental Centre, Since March 2018. Brooke, has brought with her a lot of experience from both private and public practices. She first become a Dental Assistant in Melbourne in 2014, and completed her Certificate II in Dental Assisting in 2015 through the RMIT University.
Brooke assists the dentists. She is a reliable, knowledgeable and eager member of our team and always happy to help where she can.
Front Office Co-ordinator
Montana started work at The Dental Centre in January 2014 as a school based Trainee Dental Assistant. During this time she has become a full time member of our team, completed her certificate III in Dental Assisting and Certificate IV in Radiography.
Her role at The Dental Centre involves reception duties focusing on making sure scheduling is running smoothly. She is a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable member of our team.
Trainee Dental Assistant
Hannah started her traineeship in November 2016.
Since then she has completed Certificate III in Dental Assisting and will spend 2018 studying Certificate IV in Radiography.
Her role as a trainee Dental Assistant includes chair side assisting, sterilisation procedures and when required, reception duties.
Hannah is a driven and enthusiastic member of our team.
Ms Anne M Campbell
Anne Graduated from TAFE SA, Adelaide in 1982 as a Dental Hygienist and commenced work at The Dental Centre in 1989. In 2014 Anne also became Practice Manager.
Anne regularly attends practice management courses in Sydney to help manage a happy and cohesive workplace for all staff and patients. She also works closely with the dentists and plays an important role with our preventive care and orthodontic programs.
Anne frequently attends education programs in Dental Hygiene and Periodontics to update her education and knowledge to help provide an optimum service for our patients.
Anne has decided to take a step back from being a Dental Hygienist and is no longer taking new patients. Currently, she helps provide service to the existing orthodontic patients who are close to the completion of their treatment.
Front Office Co-ordinator
Brylee has been working as a Dental Assistant since 2005. Whilst living in Broken Hill, Brylee studied her Certificate III in Dental Assisting. She then moved to Adelaide where she completed Certificate IV in Dental Assisting and Radiography.
Brylee started work at The Dental Centre in 2012. She is currently employed as our Front Office Coordinator. This role involves focusing on reception duties including patient scheduling. In September 2014, Brylee was responsible for implementing and coordinating Dental Practice Accreditation which she received a Dental Corporation Star Performer Award.
Brylee is now part time at The Dental Centre. She likes to spend her days off with her two young daughters.
