Dr Thomas Cocks
Tom studied a bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Adelaide and was subsequently accepted into the post graduate Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Sydney. Whilst completing his post graduate training, Tom worked as an oral health therapist, specialising in the treatment of paediatric patients in two of Sydney’s top practices, one on Macquarie Street in the CBD and the other in Hunter’s Hill. During his studies, Tom’s dedication to excellence was recognised through numerous awards, including the Pierre Fauchard Academy award for Academic Excellence and Leadership, and the Peter Kalwaski Prize for Proficiency in both Endodontics and Prosthodontics. Upon graduation, Tom also received the honour of being awarded the “Australian Dental Graduate of the Year”
As a dentist, Tom’s easy-going nature, patience, and dedication to his work provides his patients with a painless and often enjoyable dental experience. He has made a name for himself amongst our most nervous patients and apprehensive children with his kind and gentle approach to dental care, relieving dental anxiety for all patients.

Dr Gregory C Cocks
Greg is a highly trained Dental Surgeon with postgraduate accreditation in Orthodontics, Periodontics, and Dental Implantology. He is interested in all areas of contemporary dental practice and is a regular attender of post graduate training courses. He is a tutor at the University of Adelaide Dental School, passing on his vast dental knowledge onto the next generation of dentists.
Greg is actively involved in community and sporting associations and is a fellow of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (course 13).
Greg is the chairman of Senyum, a dental humanitarian aid program to provide dental care for disadvantaged children in rural/remote areas of Australia and Indonesia.
He provides services on a part time basis from the Dental Centre, and looks forward to continuing care for his long term patients.
Oral Health Therapist
Hannah was once a patient at The Dental Centre, and she has now returned to work with us after completing a bachelor of oral health at Charles Sturt university, in Wagga Wagga in 2018.
Whilst studying, Hannah worked as a dental assistant and was trained in Zoom whitening. Since
graduating she has completed training in 3D cone beam radiography. As an Oral Health Therapist, Hannah is trained in paediatric dentistry and dental hygiene, providing a wide range of dental services.
Hannah enjoys working with children, helping people improve their dental hygiene and creating confident smiles.
Ann commenced work in the dental industry in 1977.
She has successfully completed her Certificate lll and IV in Dental Assisting and Radiography. Since joining The Dental Centre in 2002, Ann has since gained certificates in OPG Radiograph, 3D Cone Beam Radiography and Cerec fabrication of porcelain work including staining and glazing.
Ann has a wealth of dental knowledge in all facets from reception, to surgery work and equipment maintenance. This makes Ann the go to person for our surgery. We would be lost without her.
Outside of the surgery, Ann is a family orientated person, loves keeping fit and involved in playing Masters softball. All of these qualities along with an amazing work ethic make Ann the perfect Practice Manager.
